Introduction to the Synria Alicia-M Series Robotic Arms

Version Compatibility

The current Alicia-M series documentation corresponds to Alicia-M SDK v1.1.1 and Synria Communication Protocol v1.0.6. The legacy 1.0.0 documentation is still accessible through the version selector.

Product Overview

The Synria Alicia-M series is a light-industrial-grade six-axis servo intelligent robotic arm released by Synria Technology, designed for light industrial applications, advanced research, and teleoperation scenarios. Building on the flexibility and ease of use of the Alicia-D series robotic arms, the Alicia-M series substantially improves payload, precision, and rigidity, making it a high-performance platform for embodied intelligence algorithms (ACT, Diffusion Policy, VLA, VTLA, etc.) to move from the laboratory toward industrial deployment.

Key features:

  • Industrial-grade six-axis robotic arm design: 6DoF (7DoF including the gripper) structure, 750mm working radius, 1.5kg rated end-effector payload, ±0.1mm repeatability, driven by high-performance servo motors with both high rigidity and high precision
  • Advanced motion control algorithms: Built on Synria's in-house RoboCore robotics library as the underlying foundation, supporting joint position control, end-effector pose control, drag teaching, PID tuning, and a full set of zero-point calibration tools for smooth and efficient motion control
  • Complete SDK and ROS support: Provides a Python SDK and ROS2 source code
  • Flexible teleoperation and teaching capabilities: Ultra-low-latency, high-speed teleoperation and an ergonomic trigger-button teaching arm design
  • AI algorithm support: Integrates with Lerobot, providing ACT, DP, and VLA open-source algorithms along with VLM voice-control example programs, supporting imitation learning and end-to-end policy deployment under industrial-grade precision requirements
